When I first started using steam to play my games I was pretty angry about having to go through this annoying software just to do basic PC matchmaking. Years later, the service has drastically improved. The thing that vindicates Steam in my eyes are the amazing sales they have on computer games, which enable me to download some gems I otherwise might not have given another look at. Last week I got Spec Ops: The Line for 5 bucks, and Resident Evil 6 for 10 bucks. Amazing bargains, even if sometimes the service is annoying.
I honestly don't understand why so many people literally camp out in the cold or deal with the loony bin atmosphere on Black Friday at bestbuy. Near my house a riot almost broke out and people were injured last year over a sale on a TV. Meanwhile I stayed at home nice and warm and got the very same item online, I just had to wait a few days to get it delivered.
I used Air Asia.com for my trip to Japan and saw a lot of deals that you can't find on many American vacation deal sites. It seems these guys have inside knowledge on cheap flights and accomodations compared to similar sites.
American Apparel is very much "in" right now. The designs are hip yet classic, and being able to shop online instead of the store opens up a whole new world of variety. Generally the whole purchase and shipping process went well, would recommend.
Abe Books is my #1 source for getting college textbooks for free. With a user-friendly system and unbeatable prices on books , I would recommend this site for anyone looking to save money.
