Quality is below average. Prices are not super high but it's not the cheapest either. I'd go here for blouses and cheaper products that I can over-use and and not feel bad about it.
This isn't my first tailored suit - I've had a few - I've had some made in Thailand and HK. Usually I buy my suits off-the-rack but due to some unfortunate recent weight gain that's no longer an option.
So last month I decided to try out PRIVE, I've been following them for a while since January when I participated in their marketing survey.
I picked out a Super 120S fabric and told them what style I wanted (which is pretty standard for most tailors) - but what stands out is when they measured me up. First of all, I'm used to getting measured by tailors because I've always thought they are the only ones qualified enough to measure me. But this time I essentially measured myself with the guidance of my stylist. It was actually not that difficult at all. They were very thorough and did a good job guiding me through all the measurements. The result of this was a suit that fit perfectly, no further alterations needed to be made.
Like I said before, I've had tailor-made suits before - and sometimes it's a nightmare and there are multiple fittings required (once I think I needed 3 fittings since there was always something wrong). Not the case with PRIVE. The suit turned out great and fit perfectly first time.
PRIVE is great - it's definitely not the lowest price tailor out there - I paid $500 for my first suit and $700 for the second one- (did I get a good deal? who knows...) but you get what you pay for.
I was very impressed by PRIVE - they do great work. It's definitely worth a visit and placing an order. I will definitely return the next time I need a suit.
