Earlier in March this year, I purchased my first Prive Suit. It was a Premium S120 suit which I was very happy with.
The suit last time was 90% perfect, the only thing I didn't like was the shorter pant length (which was recommended by Sandy). This time we decided to make the pant length a little longer, but kept all the measurements the same.
Also, I wanted to go for something a little bit more expensive so I decided to go with the executive S120. I did a little research on the fabrics and VBC is one of the highest quality wools in Italy. My male friends own VBC suits which cost upwards of $1,500 to give you an idea where PRIVE is in terms of pricing.
Here are my final thoughts:
1. Go for the Executive fabrics. I never thought fabric made such a big difference but the higher quality fabrics just blankets over your body. I can wear my suit for 10-14 hours without feeling uncomfortable.
2. When in doubt, increase your measurements. It's much easier to shorten the length of the pants than it is to increase the length (actually in my case it was impossible). So when you're not sure which number to go with, always go with the higher number. I didn't realize the shorter pant length bothered me until 2 months into it. By that time it was too late to request alterations with Prive without having to pay out of my own pocket.
3. Give PRIVE a try if you are in the market for a suit. Hands down the best suit in my closet, and I own 6 other suits.
