I ordered two dresses from this company for a wedding I was attending. I ordered them a month in advance. About a week after ordering, I got an email saying one of the dresses had been shipped. A week later, I still hadn't received the first dress and also hadn't been notified about the shipment of the second dress. I contacted them, and they responded saying the second dress was out of stock. I should have gotten a notification about that immediately. They did allow me to cancel the order and assured me the other dress would arrive in time for the wedding I was attending. It didn't. It arrived two days past the wedding. I no longer needed the dress, so I went about returning it. On the website, it says you can return items for a full refund (but you have to pay shipping--fine). When I emailed them to ask their return shipping address (it's mysteriously left off the website), I received the following message:
"We apologize for the inconvenience and are sorry to hear this. Is it possible if you resell it or send it to other people? As you know, if you return it, we are afraid that you will need to bear the postage to send it back. The postage is not that cheap. Therefore, it is not cost-effective. How about we give you a 15% off discount code on your future orders if you keep the item?"
Um, no. That is ridiculous. You should state that on your website. And NO--15% off will NOT make up for it. Especially since I'll NEVER order from this company again.
