Two unknowing ex-colleagues from a bank had met at a fashion school in Los Angeles called the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). They had both interned at the same fashion company and most of all, both love the vibrant yet laidback spirit of the Southern Californian lifestyle and fashion.
With this common passion (and backed with a streak of adventure), the duo created SOCIAL with the aim to create a fashion scene that embodies a continuous versatility – one that allows one to easily go from casual chic to classic glamour and to translate the misconception of pricey Hollywood fashion into one of complete affordability.
In 2012, SOCIAL was established. In addition to bringing constant reinvention of dressing to women around Asia, Elyse and Katheleen aspire to make SOCIAL a creative social force in fashion.
