Perfect bed for a good night's sleep

I was hesitant at first to purchase a mattress from HipVan. I was eyeing their LEVITATE mattress.. but the usual hesitations (not sure if the firmness if what I'm looking for etc). But I saw that they offer 100 nights free trial and I decided to give it a try! It was delivered so quickly I was shocked. Much faster than I expected. I slept on it for a week and I fell in love with it! It's perfect for someone who's looking for something firm enough for good support but yet want something thats not hard as rock. It has a cool layer thats memory foam so I am assuming that's why its so comfy!!
I think I am a convert for sure, and will recommend it to all my friends! The price is super worth it too as compared to all the other branded mattresses.

I actually had a good experience shopping at Hipvan. Ordered 3 scratch maps, 1 tumbler and 2 notebooks! They had $10 off so that was a bonus.

I ordered on a Tuesday and received the package by Friday, shipping was free of charge.

Even though they were in plastic wrapping which looked old and dusty, but the product itself was intact and good.

In all, I would shop there again!

To be frank, I have rarely appraise online retailers or you can say I am too lazy to do that even I have encountered bad services. However, the services and professionalism of HipVan has been so lousy (worse i have ever encountered over the 30+ years of my life) that motivates me to share more today.

Buy things at your own risks there as you will have problems contacting anyone there. No one will bother to reply your email. I have emailed them on 3th Aug 2016 and promptly received an auto-generated email. After that, absolutely no replies from them despite coming close to a month.

I think the lowest rating 'terrible' is insufficient to describe their services.

I recently purchased a lamp from Hipvan.
1. System didn't work - it took me about 1 week to get their response on how to make an order offline.
I decided to give them a chance because I liked the product.
2. Delivery was delayed and was not informed to me. Shipment is big and I needed to be home to collect.
I emailed but no one responded, called but no one picked up.
3. Item delivered but not the same as picture.
I emailed 1 week ago. No responds till today.

Horrible horrible service. No more purchases from them.

When I was reviewing my order I was shown a reasonable shipping fee. However, when I placed the order, it was 10 times what I thought it would be. I immediately contacted them to cancel my order. The only reply I have received was they're so busy they can't reply. They did however let me know when to expect the merchandise. This is incredibly poor customer service. If they are going to advertise a low shipping rate then actually charge another, they should charge what they say they will. They weren't too busy to allegedly ship my order immediately, but when I tried to cancel, they are too busy to reply? They also advertise free returns, yet if they don't keep their word on shipping charges, I certainly don't expect an easy return.

    Update: They did get back to me eventually and gave me a partial refund on my shipping charges. They also said they would review their policy. I am satisfied, yet I would caution people to check their order confirmation to ensure accuracy.

Have ordered from Hipvan a couple of times, really like the range of products they have. So far, I have no complaints about their courier services or customer service. The products received were in good condition and I find are quite well represented in the pictures in their website. Only thing is that sometimes their shipping takes a while.

In my previous review, I had received a product with defect and I specified that I prefered a refund or an exchange of another product because the quality of the defected product was poor.
I received a polite email from the team to apologize for the defect and a request for photos of the defect. thereafter, Hipvan informed that they will be sending me another set of the same product.
Two things- they should have explained that it's not their policy to refund or exchange - instead of just announcing they are sending another set of the same thing. I don't know if I'm happy with receiving yet another set of the product that I don't like... another thing- the courier arrangement was set up without asking me about my availability of timing! This courier just called to inform that the package can't be sent as arranged because of gps error. Again- I really feel very irritated with this whole shopping experience. It's just one thing after another after another......

Hipvan's product range is wide and interesting and I was very impressed with their products as it was very unusual and modern and "hip".
I ordered two bedding sets and one water bottle- amounting to more than $250 and waited in anticipation.
When the products arrived, one of the bedding set had holes and the fabric was also very poor. The other two products were fine. I emailed the hipvan team and waited for a reply.
No response. Thinking it might have been one of those automated mailboxes, I went to their website and left a comment for them to come back to me.
Still no response.
This is unacceptable for online retailers; customer service has to be efficient and fast to establish trust especially when there is no avenue for clients to contact online retailer.

I'm quite disappointed with my first shopping experience with hipvan.

I've been wanting to order from HipVan, as they have some really good sales and a great range of products, like little knick-knacks and some things you really can't find in Singapore. I ordered a diffuser and a couple of towels and got free shipping over $100.

The only downside was the shipping, as delivery took 2-3 weeks, which is a really long time, and no notification that it would take that long.

I would shop there again for the product selection and sales, but would be more prepared to wait for delivery next time.
