It has been a long time since I bought an item from HVV. Their recent collections have been very dainty and seemed to be of rather good quality. Hence I decided to purchase an item from them.
Bought a dress from one of the recent collection and it turned out that the dress quality is terrible. Let me repeat, TERRIBLE. The dress was retailed at $34, and additional $2 for postage was required, but I was totally fine with this since the dress looked like it was worth the price. (Note: I used the word looked) Was so excited when I received the confirmation email, after paying for the item, since it seemed really pretty in pictures. Received the item a few days later and to my dismay, the dress turned out to be of really bad linen material. It was so rough and uncomfortable when I tried it on, with the tag still intact, and I never want to try it on again. To even think that their dress description stated "Made of quality linen". May I know where did the "quality" part went to?
Was still thinking perhaps I might be able to return the dress since they had a return policy. However, the return policy was an even greater disappointment. They had only allowed returns for "Incorrect Items, Defective Items or Issues with size/fit". So obviously my reason does not fit into any of these 3, I was not able to get a refund/even a credit refund. Just had to learn my lesson from this incident.
Nevertheless I must give due credit to the packaging and courier teams, who were prompt in mailing and delivering the item. But the quality of the dress is really a no go for me. Most likely would not be purchasing an item from them again.
