This is the last time I'll ever buy from Groupon. Due to the heavy discounts on their products, I generally go in with very low expectations. All the items I've received in the past have been only satisfactory and never wow-ed me.
I 'bought' a Tiger humidifier ($99 from $195) for my baby's room back in mid-December and it was supposed to be delivered in 7 days. After forgetting about it amid lots of travel, I called up Groupon and asked to check on the status since it's been almost 2 months.
They said that they canceled the order in Dec because the distributor ran out of the humidifier. My problem is, they never called or emailed me to let me know of that, nor did they give me a refund! They only process refunds if customers ring the call centre to activate a refund which I think is absolutely crazy.
I should receive my refund in 5 days, else it is my responsibility to call them back... 0 for customer service.
Way too much trouble to buy from Groupon, NEVER AGAIN.
