Stressful experience from a disorganised company

Ordered my dress to arrive on a Thursday, via Auspost Parcel Locker.
Thursday mid-morning arrives. Still no notification that my order is on the way.
Email the company. Turns out the previous customer returned my dress late - so I wasn’t going to be receiving my dress that day. So much for the accessories I bought to specifically match the dress originally ordered.
As compensation, offered an alternative dress, plus a backup dress free of charge.
Thursday evening comes. Get a call from the courier. They don’t know how to work Auspost Parcel Lockers. Said they would deliver the dress to my work during business hours the next day instead.
Next day (Friday) arrives. Followed up the courier in the morning. Told the dresses would not arrive that day. I needed a dress for that night. Asked for a refund.
Have a meltdown. Panic shop for a dress at the last minute - defeating the whole purpose of going through Glamcorner. While shopping I get a call from Glamcorner offering to deliver the dresses by 2:30PM. Redirected the dresses to a house address, hopefully making it easier for the courier to do their job.
4:30PM… dresses finally arrive.
Even without it on, the zipper of one dress was extremely hard to do up. I settled for the other.
All in all, I am too traumatised to ever consider using Glamcorner again. I would not recommend it to others. It’s disappointing that I was the one who had to bring my late order to their attention. A professional company would proactively alert their customers when they aren’t going to receive what they paid for. That should serve as enough warning to anyone reading this.
