In a nutshell: I placed an order for some killer-looking bikinis in November 2016. Fast forward 9 months, no item. After numerous assurances of a refund, no refund.
After a promise of "we'll send it again, refund you and throw in something extra" - nothing!
I feel I am the butt of this company's joke while they take my money, promise the world and deliver nothing (literally).
I've held off on writing a complaint for so long because I wanted them to redeem themselves, to explain, to restore my humanity as a consumer... However, I feel I no longer have a choice and I must tell others. For the good of all things beach, sun and fun!
I've lost $80.00 that I could have used a myriad of ways, and I'll never get that money back. I write this to warn others, to help others: STAY AWAY, don't risk it, keep your money and hold it close... at least while you find a better merchant of insta-cool swimwear!
What's most hurtful is this company's promises to deliver, to fix, to compensate, to investigate, but with no result. If they'd been honest from the outset and said, "mate, lost your item. Not gonna send another", I would have respected their frankness and not spent the last 9 months of my life engaging in email jousts with them and longingly checking the mailbox for the parcel.
I'm not going to claim they have been fraudulent. Unfortunately I haven't the proof... but after being told that 2 separate parcels have been sent, yet with no delivery and no tracking number ever provided, I think blind Freddy would be able to put two and two together. Here's a hint: theyarefullofit.
I promised the company I would "write multiple reviews on as many consumer forums/social media platforms as I can sign up to". So here I am, delivering on my promise. Can you say the same, Bondi Venus? Nope. Thanks for nothing, except for giving me an opportunity to sharpen my complaint-writing skills.
