Ordered a delivery for my mother's 60th birthday, knowing it would be a meaningful gesture as two of her three daughters live overseas and see her once a year, myself included. By 7pm on the day of the scheduled delivery, it was obvious there wasn't going to be a delivery. There was someone home all day, but there was no communication/ explanation, either by email or to my sister's local mobile number. I emailed the company to ask for a status update, and even messaged them on Instagram (which is obviously a monitored account due to new posts being published now and then). No reply for more than a day. My local sister tried calling the number listed on the confirmation email, which turned out to be a wrong number. We eventually figured out that the number in the confirmation email was different to that on their website. When we eventually got a reply, they explained that their server had crashed and they didn't get any orders. Which is funny, considering my credit card was charged. And it doesn't explain why they didn't reply to my emails or Insta queries. They offered to deliver the flowers, which wouldn't have meant much considering it was days after my mother's birthday. This review is more for the lack of communication than anything else. Very disappointed. I should've known not to expect the same standards I'm used to from florists in Melbourne. Please check that the phone number in your confirmation emails match the one on your website.
