A few years ago, I started selling craft vinyl products to Canadians because there weren't any suppliers in Canada that were offering reasonable prices to crafters. I had to give up the idea at first because shipping expenses became a nightmare. The few customers I had back then kept asking me if I would not reconsider so I have done just that. I'm so happy I did.
Let’s talk about reviews. Did you have any initial reservations about asking your customers for reviews, and how do you feel about online reviews now?
No, I was not worried. I do my very best to help all my customers both with the products they need and with the information they need to use their products successfully. I have been working with die cutting machines of several types since 2008 so I am in a unique position to help crafters with the problems they encounter.
What ShopVenture review feature do you like best and why?
I like the automation because my customers are reminded to leave a review. I also like the little image on the side of the screen that visitors to my shop can click to read reviews customers have left.
What are your top tips for other online store owners just starting out?
Find out what problems your customers are facing. Find solutions for them and you should do well.
